About Oasis
The wait is finally over. It took 15 years, many, many fights, most of them public, numerous announcements that a reunion will never take place, establishment of separate, individual bans, but as of the summer of 2025, Oasis will finally step on a stage, together.
As of now, the Oasis Live '25 tour will happen only in the British Isles, with concerts in Cardiff, Manchester, London (5 shows at Wembley Stadium) and Edinburgh – all of them sold out in less than 24 hours. Due to enormous demand, talk is already underway to prolong the tour into continental Europe and behind for the remainder of 2025 and even 2026.
The reunion was in the cards. Music fans around the world were calling for the Gallagher Brothers to make it happen. But they refused. Well, sort of. At one point, a promise was made that if their beloved Manchester City will win the English Premier League, they will be back together. City won the Premier League in 2011. Then there was a hint that if and when the club would win the European Champions League, they might reconsider. City won the Champions League in 2023.
But it doesn't matter now, as the reason why Oasis is back together remains unknown. And music fans are going absolutely berserk, what promises to make Oasis Live '25 the biggest event of the year in global music.
Oasis was established in 1991. It didn't take them long to become one of the biggest names to come out of UK's newest invasion, leaders of the Britpop movement of the 90's, together with Blur, Suede and Pulp, k.
Oasis's backbone – and problem to be – were lead singer Liam Gallagher and brother and lead guitarist Noel Gallagher, with Paul Arthurs on guitar, Paul McGuigan on bass and Tony McCarroll on drums.
Their debut album, "Definitely Maybe" was released in 1994 and exploded like a fire on a very dry field on a hot summer day, selling over 8 million copies worldwide and entering the UK chart at No. 1.
Oasis became so popular at such a rapid face, that it performed in front of 125 thousand people in the Knebworth music festival in 1996 and went on 8 world tours.
Until their disbanded in 2009 – after fights between the Gallagher brothers became too intense, too frequent, too loud, and sometimes too legal - between 1991-2209, Oasis has released a total of 8 studio albums and went out to sell over 75 million copies worldwide.
Oasis have won the Brit Award 6 times and the NME Award 17 times. They were nominated to 3 Grammy Awards but didn't win.
And now, one of the great bands of the 90's, one of the great bands coming out of Britain, one of the great and most influential bands the music industry has produced, are coming back on stage. And it promises to be nothing sort of one great celebration.
